Change your payment option

If you try to sign in to Xbox LIVE and receive a message that says “Your account has been suspended due to a problem with your payment option. Please use a different payment option or update your current information in Account Management”, then your Xbox LIVE account has been suspended, because we have been unable to charge your credit/debit card for your subscription renewal.
Until this situation is corrected, you will not be able to use the Gold features of your Xbox LIVE account.
You can update your details by following the steps below.
From the computer
- On a computer, go to https://billing.microsoft.com, and sign in with the Windows Live ID that you use with your Xbox LIVE account.
- In Billing account overview, click Go to personal information
- To change payment option information, click View/Edit next to the payment option you want to change in the Your Payment Methods section, click Edit payment method information
- Update your credit card information, or click Use a different payment method if you need to add a new card.
From the console
- On your console, go to My Xbox, and then select your avatar.

- In Account Management, select Manage Account.

- Under Your Memberships, select the membership you want to change (for example, Xbox LIVE Gold).

- Under Xbox LIVE Membership, select Change Payment Options.

- Do one of the following:

- To add a new payment option, select Add Credit Card.
- Select another card from the list.
- To edit an existing card, highlight the card, and press X on the controller to edit.
